"I enjoy acting like I enjoyed playing cowboys with my dad.

Every time I hear "Action", I try to go back to that kid in me and try to get the same cooperation from my partner as I got from my dad when I pointed him an imaginary gun."

"I started my career at the age of 11 on the theatre stage. When you're a kid you have no sense of judgment. You just fly with your imagination. No fear. No heavy thoughts. Just enjoying the moment."

Oshri Cohen currently stars as “Joseph” in BBC/abc hit thriller McMafia aired last year on Amazon prime video directed by James Watkins (Black Mirror) and written by Hossein Amini (Drive).
The show won “Best drama” at the “International Emmy Awards” and soon to be shot its second season.

For many years Oshri concidere to be one of the top actors in Israel with many nominations and wins for both actor and supporting actor at “The Theatre academy Awards״ and “The Ophir films awards” .

Throughout his career Oshri did many inspiring roles on theatre, TV and films such as “Beaufort (nominated for best foreign film at the American Oscars and won Golden Bear for best script at The Berlinale), Lebanon (best film at The Venice International Film Festival) and “Working women” that got chosen by the Los Angeles Times to be one of the best movies of 2019 along other great films on the list such as “Toy story 4 “ and “Us” under the statement “the #Metoo movement has found its film”.

Oshri cohen also participated in the fifth season of “Homeland” by HBO and the film Agora staring Rachel Weiss.

But his passion for films doesn’t stop here.

Oshri is now making his first steps as a filmmaker after graduation from “New York Film academy” (NYFA) in Los Angeles.

His shorts films were nominated in many short film festivals such as “Berlin FLASH film festival” and “HOLLYWOOD JUST4shorts”, "GOLDEN SHORT" and more. These days he works on his first feature film with the leading Israeli production company “2-team productions” that produced ״Sand storm” that bought by Netflix among great other successful films produced by them.

Through his passion for preforming arts and entertainment, Oshri Cohen also found a place in the music scene. As a versatile artist, Oshri used to produce a variety of genres such as drum and base, techno, 2step and break beat, but nowadays he focuses in producing Deep House and Techno music .This flexibility allows him to create a true journey on the dance floor.
